This illustration was created as a personal commission requested by Ron van Rooij for his brother, Menno van Rooij, as a birthday gift. The assignment was to create a detailed, hand-drawn illustration of Menno’s home, carefully capturing its shape, details, and the surrounding landscape.
Special attention was given to the home’s setting, set in its beautiful surroundings, to show how the house and nature come together. By focusing on both the building and its environment, the illustration becomes a piece of art that highlights the charm of the home and the beauty of the land around it.
